1 Item, 3 Ways: MUJI Turtleneck

Monday, November 20, 2017
It's almost the end of November and it's crazy how this year is just flying by. With that being said, it's going to be my last fall post of the year! It's starting to get pretty cold in Toronto so it's time to start on the fall to winter transition stuff. I haven't posted a 1 Item, 3 Ways in months so of course I needed to end my autumn 2017 with that kind of post. Today, I'll be styling a wool fitted turtleneck from MUJI. MUJI is an incredible brand and I was fortunate to attend their fall/winter preview last year which is where I learned more about the quality of their brand. There was actually a 20 year old sweater they brought and it honestly looked brand new. I couldn't believe it. I've been wanting to style this turtleneck on my blog for a while so I thought it'd be perfect considering orange sweaters are becoming increasingly popular! I'm telling you, orange is IN and I'm loving it.

The first outfit is half casual and half dressed up, but a great fall outfit. I decided to pair the turtleneck with a sleeveless blazer (a go-to of mine) and then some straight cut jeans. To add some accessories. I chose a layered necklace and a wool hat which are classic staples in anyone's closet.

The second outfit is definitely more on the casual side. I don't know why but I feel like overall dresses seem more appropriate for fall than the typical denim overall shorts you wear during the summer. You 100% can wear them almost any season but I feel like autumn is perfect! Layering overalls with striped sweaters is the perfect outfit for fall and it'll never get old.

As for the last outfit, it's more of a dressier way to wear a turtleneck. I paired it with one of my favourite skirts from Joe Fresh but the blazer is what makes the entire outfit. I love this military styled blazer from SheIn! The embroidery is absolutely stunning. Considering its a turtleneck, I thought a thin blazer would add as a great layering piece without getting too hot.

And that is it for Autumn 2017! Let me know what type of winter posts you'd like to see. Also, keep an eye out on my YouTube channel - a new video will be released on Saturday!
