How To Keep Summer Vibes While Transitioning Into Fall

Thursday, September 21, 2017

How has everyone's week been? I think I'm planning on having a little life update in the beginning of my posts so my audience here can also learn more about my personal life. My week has been filled with editing, catching up with friends and shooting which is the usual. I'm trying to fit in time to edit videos because I have 4 filmed. Does anyone have any tips on how to edit when you're dealing with a slow computer? It's constantly freezing whenever I'm working on videos which frustrates me beyond belief. Other than that, I have exciting content that will be posted on my blog within the next few weeks! One which will involve lanterns...think of the movie Tangled. That's your hint!

At this time of the year, you're either completely done with summer fashion and itching for fall (like I currently am) or you're trying to hold onto it for as long as possible. I get it, once you get used to something, it's hard to get out of that habit (this goes for a lot of things in life). I do understand why you'd want to hold onto summer for as long as possible - you don't need to layer up, it's easier to pull together an outfit, the days are longer and so much more. For today's post, I thought I'd show how I maintain those summer vibes as I'm transitioning into fall.

OUTFIT 1: FLORALS

It's safe to say that these jeans are my absolute favourite. I wear them ALL the time and they actually are more versatile than I thought. With the colours in the embroidery, I didn't think I'd find multi-coloured tops to go with it. The short sleeve knit from H&M is perfect because the colours are spot on. To tone down the outfit, I threw on a white blazer. To accessorize it all, I tied it together with suede light pink Converse One Star's and a matching pink backpack!

OUTFIT 2: SIMPLE

One of the easiest ways to hold onto those summer vibes is by sticking with the same kind of colour palette into the next season. If you've followed me for a while, you'd know that my style in fall/winter is very different from spring/summer. I definitely love switching over to more earth tones during the colder seasons.
