1 Item, 3 Ways: Frilled Plumetis Blouse (ft. Carolina Pinglo)

I have another styling post for you all, surprise, surprise. I find these posts the most useful and I want to make it a habit to feature more of these kinds of posts versus #OOTD ones. As much as I love a good #OOTD inspo, I feel like Instagram is enough for just one outfit you know? This styling post is featuring my gorgeous friend Carolina Pinglo (at Carolina Pinglo). She's been featured on my blog and Youtube before so you all should know her by now!

After watching Carolina's November haul, I totally fell in love with the frilled blouse she got from Zara that I ended up getting it in the black version for Christmas. We wanted to have another collab post and thought we'd each style the blouse. Although our styles can be similar at times, this post will show you how differently we would style this particular top.

I ended up styling it two different ways--one casual and one formal. I thought it'd be great to show how you can easily take it from day to night. If you want to see the third way to style this blouse, head to Carolina's post that is here!

Outfit 1: Casual

I love how simple yet put together this outfit is. I have been living in these LEVI jeans ever since Neon gave them to me. Neon is a store on Queen St. that let me do some shopping there in honour of them opening up a Toronto location (Here's the blog post for that if you're interested). They're the perfect vintage fit and they also have room for me to wear thermal underneath (because winter is here and your girl needs to keep warm!). To add a bit of a statement piece, I wore my velvet Topshop bag which adds a bit of texture to the overall outfit.

Top - Zara
Jeans - LEVIS (via Neon)
Shoes - Zara
Bag - Topshop (similar)

Outfit 2: Formal

I'm absolutely obsessed with this H&M pleated skirt I got a couple of months ago! I used to own an accordion pleated skirt back in high school but it was no where as nice as this one. Especially for only $40, it looks and feels gorgeous. Accordion pleated skirts are everywhere and tend to me $70+ so if you're looking for an affordable one, I definitely recommend this one. If you want to see another way I styled this skirt, check out my holiday lookbook :)

Hope you enjoyed all the outfit inspo in this post! Leave a comment down below which way you'd wear this top & don't forget to check out Carolina's post and be sure to follow her on all social media: Twitter, Instagram, Youtube.
